Having been lucky enough to stay in this fabulous luxury chalet in Zermatt, we know it certainly has the ‘wow' factor. Located in the exclusive Petit Village, near the Sunnegga Express lift, Chalet Grace is one of our favorite chalets. You'll be blown away by the effortlessly stylish andutterly gorgeous living room with awe-inspiring uninterrupted Matterhorn views. Sumptuous luxury and high spec facilities abound; from the design-led interiors to the games room with home cinema, pool table, and card table. A very impressive spa and wellness area has a yoga/relaxation space, sauna, shower, and massage room - and an outdoor hot tub to soak up the panoramas, what bliss. Plus they can quickly call on an electric taxi to shuttle around this car-free resort.

Overview

Chalet Grace is located in the exclusive Petit Village area of Zermatt above the main town centre. Beautiful open-plan living spaces, combined with panoramic vistas of the Matterhorn and 6* facilities.

Just a 10-minute walk to the town centre, and 2 minutes to the nearest lift, the 500 metres squared property exudes a comfortable stylish charm. Floor to ceiling windows on all three levels, a dramatic vaulted interior, high spec interiors from ambient lighting to chic contemporary bathrooms and the finest bedding. Two large outdoor terraces with loungers, tables and chairs maximise the breathtaking location of Chalet Grace – and the stunning Matterhorn views for sensory overload.

The raised dining room seats 14, and the stylish open plan lounge features a gorgeous French stone open fireplace and adjoining bar area. A well-appointed games room with a pool table and luxury cinema add to the exceptional level of facilities with a computer, printer, fax, and iPad in case of any last-minute work hiccups.

Chalet Grace offers 5 spacious and stylish en-suite bedrooms with a plasma TV and can easily cater for up to 12; with four of the five bedrooms each enjoying south-facing balconies to capture the breathtaking scenic views of the Matterhorn and majestic snowy white mountain peaks.

Pampering is key at this luxury ski property with a wellness area on the ground floor in a large glass-fronted space with a flat-screen TV, and music for yoga, pilates, fitness and relaxation.  Adjoining is a wonderful sauna, massage room, outdoor terrace and jacuzzi – just the ticket for a day on the piste. Children’s tea can be prepared early and extra care is taken on pre-planning menus for even the fussiest eater.

The philosophy on food is straightforward: using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients, Michelin-trained chefs delight in crafting everything from a seven-course gourmet banquet to comforting dishes served by the fire.

They pride themselves on offering the finest wines—whether guests choose from the à la carte menu or opt for one of the locally sourced Swiss house wines, they will experience the renowned quality. If a favorite wine isn’t on the list, guests can simply let the staff know in advance, and it will be ordered in time for their arrival.

To uphold the highest standards, the team conducts a bespoke finishing school annually in Zermatt, featuring modules delivered by Jane Urquhart from the London Academy, formerly known as Greycoats Academy. 

Location

Chalet Grace is situated just three hours from Geneva, Zurich or Milan airport. For those flying on a private jet, the Sion airstrip is just over an hour away. Zermatt is a car-free resort accessed only by train, or The Chalet Edit know of local transfer companies who can bring you right into the resort. Chalet Grace is located on a sunny south-facing hillside in the exclusive Petit Village area, two minutes by taxi from the Sunnegga Express lift and three minutes from the village centre. You can also walk into town in under 10 minutes.
