At The Chalet Edit, our role is to secure the most competitive rates for the finest properties, while offering expert, first-hand advice and truly impartial guidance. We’re here to ensure you find the perfect chalet that offers exceptional value for luxury.
Payment process
Once you’re ready to confirm your chosen chalet, we’ll issue an invoice with clear payment details, a copy of the supplier terms to which you will adhere and a copy of
our terms and conditions.
A deposit (usually 25-40% of the total cost) is required to secure your booking, with the balance due by the date specified on your invoice. For bookings made close to your travel dates, full payment may be required at the time of booking.
Payment methods
We accept payment by bank transfer and some chalets accept credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or Delta). Bank transfer is our preferred method, particularly for balance payments, as it provides clarity and efficiency.
Please note that some operators do not accept American Express and most charge a small fee for commercial card payments. You’ll find the accepted payment methods clearly detailed on your booking documents.
Confirmation
Your booking will be confirmed once your payment has cleared and the chalet owner/operator has accepted the reservation. You’ll then receive a full confirmation from us, along with all relevant details for your stay.
