Etoile Filante means shooting star; a fitting name for this stunning apartment with all the makings of a fabulous ski holiday.  Located just off the main high street, a short two minute walk from the ski bus stop to the main lifts or the La Daille lifts, or 8 minutes walk into town or the slopes. Designed by the well-known Alpine interior designer Nicky Dobree, this luxury chalet apartment in Val d’Isere is a cut above the rest. 

Overview

Etoile Filante is a modern luxury duplex apartment in the high altitude resort of Val d’Isere built in 2016. Located in the new La Canadienne development from Jean-Charles Covarel and designed by the well-known Alpine interior designer Nicky Dobree, it is the perfect destination for families and smaller groups offering affordable luxury in a great location.

Sleeping 9 guests in four bedrooms this property is 167m2 spread over two floors. The master suite has an ensuite bathroom with separate shower and private balcony where you can enjoy views over the Solaise ski area. There is one further double ensuite bedroom and one double/twin ensuite bedroom plus a children’s room with two single bunk beds and a further single bed.


The main living area is located on the lower floor featuring an open plan seating arrangement around a cosy, atmospheric fireplace. Adjoining this is an elegant dining room and separate kitchen which opens onto a balcony with mountain views. Upstairs you will find a study area for those who need a quiet space to catch up with some work.

The apartment is located a short walk (8 minutes) to the pistes or alternatively a two minute walk to the free resort bus service taking you straight to the piste.

Apartment Etoile Filante is the perfect family ski holiday chalet. Being self-catered means you can be totally flexible with plans with the kids.  The bunk room will be the perfect sleepover spot and you are in an ideal location – close to the centre but away from the hustle and bustle.

Just let us know and childcare can be arranged, creating more time for you on the slopes, or a chance to enjoy the resort’s nightlife knowing your little ones are well looked after.

You are an 8 minute walk to the pistes or alternatively a two minute walk to the free resort bus service taking you straight to the piste. Chambery airport is just 2 hours away by car and Geneva is 3 hours away. Please do let us know if you’d like transfers organised – it’s these touches we know make a holiday really work.
