Bear Lodge will not disappoint. It is located in a fantastic ski-in/ski-out location in the very heart of Les Arc 1950. This luxury ski hotel is positioned on the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and opposite the Marmottes and Bois de L’Ours chairlifts. And with a ski concierge on hand in the ski room to get your equipment ready for you, your luxury ski holiday couldn’t be easier!

This ski hotel has thought of everything, and it is an ideal family-friendly hotel. There is a large cinema suite as well as a kid’s playroom for any little ones – perfect for when they have finished ski school. With a dedicated childcare team on site, this is an ideal family option to keep your kids looked after while you are on the pistes. 

The hotel provides complimentary guiding on the first two mornings of your holiday, where you can ski and board with like-minded guests of similar ability. Pre-booking is advised as places are limited. 

Wellness was a key focus for Bear Lodge. There is a spa which has a pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. For extra indulgence, you can book a massage in one of the private treatment rooms. There is also a gym room for any keen fitness fanatics. 

With a bar and lounge in the residence as well as a conference space, there are plenty of places for your group to relax. And work ski trips can be catered for too. 

This luxury Les Arc 1950 Hotel sleeps 60 – 880 guests across 30 en-suite bedrooms. The bedrooms are all located on the 2nd and 3rd floors and are equipped with WiFi, hairdryers and safes. You can choose from double or twin rooms, interconnecting family rooms, and family rooms with bunks many of which have piste side views. There are three types of bedrooms; twin rooms, family suites with twin beds and a bunk bed den for the kids and pairs of adjoining rooms for families who are looking for a bit more space.

Bear Lodge was designed with kids in mind. This is the ultimate ski hotel for those travelling with little ones, especially with the interconnecting family rooms. The kids will love splashing in the indoor swimming pool, watching a movie in the cinema room or playing in the playroom. And the ski-in/ski-out location makes getting to and from ski school a breeze. 

Nannies, babysitters and children’s ski tutors to cots and highchairs can all be easily arranged to make your luxury ski holiday as hassle-free as it gets.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

This chalet team focuses on the small details that make a ski holiday memorable, from warm ski boots each morning to dedicated hosts offering local advice. Additional touches include nannies providing a photo album, multimedia sockets, and indulgent services like massages, manicures, and fluffy towels.

The catered stay includes airport transfers from Geneva, chalet accommodation with made-up beds, complimentary toiletries, and daily cleaning. Chalet hosts assist with meals and other needs.

Culinary highlights include a three-course dinner with cheese and coffee six nights a week, along with daily breakfast (cooked and continental), a self-service option on the host’s day off, homemade cakes, and evening canapés. Qualified nannies are available for childcare.

Transfers from Geneva are scheduled at various times, with return coaches ensuring timely transfer for arrival and  departure flights.

Location

Bear Lodge is in an amazing position, boasting ski-in/ski-out access as well as being close to the very heart of Arc 1950. The ski hotel is along the side of the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and opposite the Marmottes and Bois de L’Ours chairlifts. The whole resort is completely pedestrianised and car-free, so you can literally ski right through the centre.A coach transfer is included and is 3 hours from Geneva (set timings).
