This very authentic 5 starred property has so much to offer its guests off the slopes. Non-skiers will be able to enjoy the heated indoor pool, sauna and hammam. For those with young or older kids, table football is a great activity.
The chalet is sold as a luxury self catered property, but there is the option to include chalet staff and private chef to cater for you throughout the week (additional charge).
Occupying a quiet area of the resort on the Rue de Nogentil, from here you are a short walk to the Bellecote and Pralong piste are a 2 minute walk. To drive down to the resort centre is 3 minute. From the sunny terrace you will enjoy unobstructed views of the Saulire and surrounding peaks.
The Alaska is a beautifully finished wooden Alpine chalet, everything you would expect from 5* accommodation in Courchevel 1850. The fully wooden clad walls, high ceilings and designer lighting are elegant and sophisticated. Comfy furnishings are perfect to snuggle up in the evening for pre dinner champagne. Light floods the space through large floor to ceiling windows. These sliding doors lead out to a wide balcony with ornate wood carvings.
As soon as you approach the chalet the care and attention to the woodwork will be clear. Intricate detail has gone into all balconies, shutters and this continues inside. Huge vintage beams stand in the living space which is combined with modern lighting and comfy furnishings.
The dining room has all the taste of being in a Savoyard restaurant. Elegant dining furniture with antique artefacts which adorn the walls.
The ornate woodwork continues in the huge master bedroom with seating area and attractively finished wood crafted ceilings. Each of the bedrooms has been given the same care with bathrooms to match. The family suite has double/twin beds and a bunk bed tucked around the corner for a family of 4.
You will receive a personal welcome when you arrive at the Alaska, there will also be welcome products for guests. There is a housekeeper who will come in daily to clean and the in-resort concierge service will help you book any restaurants or activities. There is also the option to add additional staff such as a private chef to catered for you breakfast, afternoon tea and delicious evening meal.
The chalet Alaska will especially suit guests who have previously skied, and can take advantage of the close proximity to the Bellecote and Pralong piste. Families will love the cosy feel and kids of all ages kids will be blown away by the indoor pool. Experience the fantastic apres ski on the mountain, then ski back to within 2 minutes walk of the chalet. Skiers and non-skiers can choose to be out all day or head back to the chalet for a pamper in the indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
