Overview
In 2017, this extraordinary chalet was awarded World’s Best New Chalet at the World Ski Awards and it certainly is one of the most luxurious, modern mountain homes in Meribel. And with the Doron piste less than 100 meters away and the iconic Rond Point close to hand, the luxury Chalet Alpaca, Meribel is in the perfect spot too.
Spread across four floors, this chalet comfortably sleeps 12 – 14 in six en-suite bedrooms with entertaining spaces throughout. At the heart of the chalet, on the first floor is the incredible living room and bar area, an open fireplace, and full-height windows offering views of the surrounding mountains. The living room offers direct access to the large outdoor terrace, which is where you’ll find the ‘endless’ heated swimming pool, copper hot tub and firepit. The ultimate apres area.
If you are wanting to soothe your muscles after a day of exploring the Three Valleys, then be sure to head to the upper ground floor where you’ll find the spa with a hammam, sauna, rain shower, and a secluded massage room. If, however, there is still a bit of energy in you, then the unique sports room is home to its very own indoor climbing wall. There is also a games room to be discovered, which is large enough for a pool table and pinball machine, and this space opens onto the cinema room with a drop-down screen.
The staff at Chalet Alpaca are all trained to the highest standard to ensure you are pampered to perfection. Your highly experienced chef here at this Meribel luxury chalet will liaise with you carefully to ensure your food here is exactly as you want. Chalet Alpaca is situated on the exclusive Route des Chalets above the centre of Meribel, with the Doron piste less than 100 metres away. Your on-call driver is also available from 8 am until 1am in the morning, allowing you to sample the varied nightlife that Meribel has to offer. Chambery airport is just 1h 15m by car and Lyon and Geneva around 2hrs away.
