The Anchorage is an authentic luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1850. Surrounded by fir trees it sits close to the Bellecote piste which is a short walk and easy ski down to the main centre and lifts of the Croisette.
Overview
A classic ornate luxury French chalet set to the side of the slopes in Courchevel 1850, France. The chalet can accommodate 10 guests to suit a few families or a group of friends. When guests enter the Anchorage, they will be welcomed by a roaring fireplace, antique wooden interior with heavy beams, large picture windows and deep sofas.
Within the chalet there is a wonderful spa area with stone surround, indoor hot tub with waterfall, hammam and relaxation area.
A housekeeper will look after the chalet day to day. There is also the option to add a private chef should you want to take the chalet catered (additional charge)
To reach the resort centre is a 3 minute drive. Guests can ski from just 2 minutes walk away onto the Bellecote and Pralong piste, this will take skiers down to the main hub of the resort centre.
On entering the chalet you will go through heavy antique doors and be surrounded by panelling on the walls. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need to produce delicious meals, or if choosing a chef and butler they will find everything they will need. Living space is a perfect combination of local wood and stone, the focal point of the room is the huge stone fireplace. Deep sofas and modern lighting create an elegant yet relaxed feel.
The mezzanine level has a wooden surround which has been ornately carved in a savoyard style. Large french windows look out to a terrace with a seating area and fir tree beyond. A separate snug room gives an additional quiet space to watch TV or read a book.
The master bedroom, on the ground floor, has a king size bed, en suite facilities, TV with satellite channels and dressing area. Each of the additional bedrooms are spacious and have been given the same attention to details as the living rooms.
The Anchorage can be taken for 10 and there is the option for larger groups of up to 22 to book the sister chalet Alaska which is in the same location. Both are self-catered with resort manager and housekeeper, extra staff can be added so you don’t have to lift a finger.
The Anchorage’s relaxed style and feel make it a perfect choice for many groups including families or friends. It is ideal for those that have skied previously to make the most of the incredible location right by the piste.

KIDS
Families with kids of all ages will love the ground floor spa area. The jacuzzi with waterfall is so much fun and the stone surround makes it film like something from a James Bond film! The chalet has a really cosy feel and the perfect chocolate box style to give you everything you want when bringing your family to the Alps. The close proximity to the Blue piste of Pralong or Bellecote is a quick ski down to main lifts and ski school meeting points.

Occupying a quiet area of the resort on the Rue de Nogentil, from here you are a short walk to the Bellecote and Prolong piste are a 2 minute walk. To drive down to the resort centre is a 3 minute walk. From the sunny terrace you will enjoy unobstructed views of the Saulire and surrounding peaks.
