Chalet Aria is a fantastic contemporary Swiss penthouse apartment in the heart of the magical resort of Zermatt, with breathtaking views of the village and mesmerizing Matterhorn mountain. Luxury Chalet Aria is bookable on a self-catered or fully catered basis with an open bar. It is brilliantly situated just a two-minute walk away from the centre of Zermatt village and the Klein Matterhorn Lift is a 5-7 minute walk or 2 minutes by ski bus. Pampering is at the heart of this luxury ski apartment as the ground floor has a small fitness room and massage area where an in-house therapist offers Swedish massage, Indian head massage and beauty base therapies such as manicures, pedicures and facials. An outdoor hot tub on the ground floor can be booked for private use. The lounge has an open fire, TV, DVD, surround sound and is a lovely space in which to relax after a long day on the slopes.

Location is everything and Chalet Aria delivers, with the centre of the village a short 2-minute walk, the Klein Matterhorn bubble lift 5-7 minutes walk or just 2 minutes on the ski bus. 



With a focus on relaxation and re-invigoration, the ground floor is home to a small fitness room and massage area, where you can enjoy a gamut of Swedish/Indian massages to beauty therapies with an outdoor jacuzzi ready to ease any aching limbs.

The beautiful double-height open plan lounge and dining room are breathtaking in scale and ambience, with wood-beamed ceilings throughout. Enormous picture windows wrap around the floor boasting extraordinary views over the Matterhorn. Oversized leather armchairs beckon so you can toast toes in front of the impressively large stone-clad open fireplace, a real feature of the penthouse. Sofas spill out into the lounge area, the perfect setting to enjoy the TV, DVD and surround sound. A large chandelier hangs over the stunning oak dining table that can seat 8 comfortably. 
This super luxury ski penthouse provides accommodation for 8 guests, spread over four double bedrooms Each bedroom is beautifully finished and each has underfloor heating, subtle contemporary lighting and TVs to cosy up in bed.  Two bedrooms have en suite beautiful designer wood and slate bathrooms, and two with en suite shower rooms.

Chalet Aria is so centrally located, close to both the village centre and ski lifts, the penthouse apartment is an excellent choice for families if skiing with children. Childcare can also be easily arranged by your concierge before you arrive. If you take the chalet catered your chef is happy to prepare child-friendly meals, served at whatever time in the evening suits. All this coupled with the glorious outdoor jacuzzi and you’ll have happy tired children by the end of the day.

Location

Chalet Aria in Zermatt Village is just a 2 minutes walk to the village centre, and just a 5-7 minutes walk to the Matterhorn ski lift (2 minutes by ski bus) and you can ski back to within 200m of the chalet. Zermatt is a car-free resort, so access is usually via train from the last stop at Tasch – it takes 10 minutes to Zermatt. You can also be picked up by a private vehicle all the way to Zermatt main train station. The nearest airport is Sion, 1hr 30 minutes away and Geneva and Zurich 3hrs 30 minutes.
