Overview

Chalet Aurora is one of a group of chalet apartments within the Myrtille Residence, a brand new chalet apartment for the 2024/25 season. Finished with rustic alpine interior and modern lighting, it offers its guests a tranquil stay. The living space is open plan with cosy deep sofas arranged around an open fireplace. Heavy driftwood style tables and a window day lounger have been beautiful finished with sheep skins and furs.

Sold on a self catered basis, guests can use the state of the art kitchen to produce homely and hearty meals. The kitchen island is a wonderful place to share a drink while preparing the evening meal. Alternatively sample some of Val d’Isere’s wonderful restaurants and takeaways.

Just a few minutes walk from the chalet door are the main lifts and ski school meeting points. Lifts include the Bellevarde Express and L’Olympique, closer still are the beginner lifts of Savonnette and Village button lifts in the resort centre. Val d’Isere’s centre is also a very short walk and you will find a huge array of shops, bars and restaurants.

The Aurora is going to be hugely popular for its size, which will accommodate 2 families, or a group of friends. Close Piste access gives skiers the opportunity to make full use of the full Espace Killy ski area. There is an outdoor hot tub on the balcony, perfect for a glass of champagne and soak after a long day! The 1st floor houses the chalet’s sauna and relaxation area. There is also a private laundry.

The interior design of the property is a chic relaxed style with calming textiles, use of local woods and classic Val d’Isere stone. A stone fireplace is the focal point for the sitting area and offers authentic chalet charm.

Each of the 4 bedrooms can be made up as a twin or double and all have en suite facilities. Light floods over the wood, stone and beautifully finished sheeps wool. Each will have luxurious slippers and dressing gowns which are so nice to relax in after being on the slopes all day. A master bedroom is spacious with seating, direct access to a balcony and large en suite bathrooms with double sink.

Being part of a large residence allows for larger groups to be able to book together, yet still have their own privacy. 

When arriving at the chalet resort staff will meet you to talk through all details of the apartment and resort. Our pre-departure concierge team will be happy to book details such as transfers, instruction and hire. During your stay the in-resort concierge staff are on hand 7 days a week. A welcome hamper including Perrier Jouët champagne and essentials will be provided. Housekeeping is included.

Families and small groups will love the chalet for its central location. Close proximity to ski school makes it great for beginners. The flexibility to add more apartments to your bookings will suit a large group with unknown numbers.

KIDS

Families will feel so at home in the Aurora, the huge space allows everyone and fantastic facilities are going to make a wonderful family break. The kids can return home, take a dip in the hot tub, whilst those with aching muscles can rest in the sauna. For those with kids it’s also really important to have private laundry, which is located next to the sauna. A central location is close to all amenities.
