Chalet Baby Bear in Chamonix, France is so picture-perfect, that you’ll want to live here permanently. With all the luxury trimmings thrown in, this bijou ski chalet luxuriates and radiates warmth and home comforts in an enchanting woodland setting with panoramic vistas.Situated just a 5-minute drive to Les Houches ski lifts, and 7 minutes to Chamonix centre, and Mont Blanc is so close it dominates the skyline. Jostling next door is the larger king of luxury Chalet Amazon Creek (the two properties can be rented out together for a party size of 16), Baby Bear is a self-catered property with morning deliveries of fresh bread and pastries.
The open-plan spacious living areas with a wood-burning stove, a very modern kitchen and a dining area leading out onto a vast terrace. KIDS
Plenty of space abounds even in bijou Baby Bear, where children will have a field day exploring not just inside, but outside too. The gentle snowy banks are perfect for a spot of snowman building, snowballing or simply sliding around mucking about. A hot tub to splash around in and a sauna to steam away or ease any aching muscles, plus a cinema room for the all-important downtime chilling watching a movie.
You can eat with the kids too, or ask the chef to prepare an earlier supper for younger children at a different time. Babysitters and nannies are also on hand to oversee the children if adults want a night out exploring the nightlife.
