Overview

Located in the heart of Zermatt, Chalet Balma is a self-catered apartment that is perfect for those wanting to be in the middle of it all. Staying here means you are close to the shops, bars and restaurants, as well as the ski lifts. Newly refurbished, this self-catered Zermatt chalet is on the 2nd floor of the building, Zermatt 2 minutes from the main street and 4 minutes from the Klein Matterhorn Express lift.

Ideal for small groups, this cosy chalet boasts light interiors with traditional touches, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Relax in the open-plan lounge or head out on the large balcony for some après ski drinks. The modern and fully equipped kitchen makes your self-catered ski holiday a breeze. 
 
There is a ski and boot room on the ground floor or ski equipment can be stored at the rental shop which is located beside the main ski lift.

Chalet Balma sleeps 4 guests across 2 bedrooms. There are two King-size double/twin bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a shower, WC and washbasin and one with a bath/shower, WC and washbasin.

Location

Apartment Balma is ideally located for those who want to be in the very heart of Zermatt village near the shops, bars and restaurants and want close proximity to the ski-lifts. Zermatt is a car-free resort, so access is usually via train from the last stop at Tasch – it takes 10 minutes to Zermatt. You can also be picked up by a private vehicle all the way to Zermatt main train station. The nearest airport is Sion, 1hr 30 minutes away and Geneva and Zurich 3hrs 30 minutes.
