Tucked away in the picturesque hamlet of Méribel Le Raffort (one stop down on the gondola from Meribel centre), Chalet Caribou blends traditional Alpine character with refined contemporary touches. This luxury self-catered chalet offers the perfect balance of style and comfort, enhanced by a private wellness area and sweeping views of the surrounding mountains.

Spread across three floors, the chalet accommodates up to 10 guests in five beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms, making it an ideal choice for families or a group of friends seeking a peaceful retreat with effortless access to the slopes.

The main living space occupies the first floor, an inviting, open-plan area where floor-to-ceiling windows draw in the natural light and showcase the snow-covered landscape. A pair of soft, modern sofas and a statement cowhide armchair surround the elegant fireplace, creating a warm, convivial atmosphere for post-ski relaxation. To one side, the striking dining table – crafted from solid slabs of hardwood – brings a rustic sophistication to evening meals. Adjacent, the sleek, fully-equipped kitchen combines natural stone worktops with washed green cabinetry and a sociable island with raised breakfast bar an ideal spot for a pre-dinner apéritif while supper is prepared.

Step outside to one of the front-facing balconies or head to the more discreet alfresco dining terrace off the kitchen, where up to eight guests can dine beneath the stars or savour a sunset apéro.

Wellness is at the heart of Chalet Caribou. After a day on the slopes, soothe tired muscles in the private sauna, located on the ground floor. The top-floor master suite offers an added touch of indulgence with its own Hammam steam room, freestanding bathtub, and access to a spacious private balcony.

The five en-suite bedrooms are designed with warmth and character in mind, featuring reclaimed timber, soft textures and charming Alpine details. Four rooms offer en-suite showers and double beds, three of which can be arranged as twins for flexible sleeping configurations. The generous master suite is a highlight, offering a sense of seclusion and elevated comfort.

Additional features include a ski room, a compact workspace, laundry facilities, and two indoor parking spaces for those driving to resort.

Positioned a 4-minute walk from the Olympe gondola, guests can easily access the Chaudanne lift hub and the wider Méribel ski area. At the end of the day, it’s possible to ski back to the village via the scenic Raffort blue piste, snow conditions permitting. For evenings out, Méribel Centre is just a 4-minute drive away, offering a vibrant selection of bars and restaurants, as well as the renowned Parc Olympique – home to an indoor pool, climbing wall and indulgent spa facilities. A local bus service also connects Le Raffort with the wider resort, with the nearest stop just a 2-minute stroll from the chalet.
