Self-catered holidays to Zermatt don’t get better than Chalet d’Amore. This luxury apartment is newly built and beautifully styled. Situated in the exclusive Winkelmatten area of Zermatt, you are close to the bus stop and Klein Matterhorn lift station, as well as being just a twelve-minute walk to the centre of the village where the main bars and restaurants are located. And with shared wellness facilities, you will race to get home to soothe those tired legs in the Jacuzzi and sauna.

Overview

Newly built, Chalet d’Amore is a luxury ski chalet in Zermatt, perfect for both friends and families. In the heart of the lovely Winkelmatten area of Zermatt, just a short walk from the main Klein Matterhorn lift station, with its local shops, bars and restaurants.

The apartment is on the second floor of the building ‘Casa d’Amore’, built in traditional Swiss style with luxury decor throughout. Every detail has been considered to ensure a relaxing self-catered ski holiday. Think Italian bathroom fittings, modern kitchen appliances, Swiss oak floors and fitted wardrobes. It is wonderfully stylish!
 
Designed with entertainment in mind, the living and dining area is open plan, as well as the kitchen, so everyone can be together after a day on the slopes. Relax on the sumptuous sofa in front of the fire whilst admiring the fantastic Matterhorn views through the floor-to-ceiling windows and from the balconies. And the kitchen is full of modern amenities, making a self-catered ski holiday super easy. 
For those who need to soothe their tired legs, the shared spa will be a delight.  Guests have shared use, with four other apartments, of the wellness area which has a jacuzzi, sauna and rainfall showers and is located on the lower ground floor. There is an elevator in the building.

Chalet d’Amore sleeps 8 guests across four bedrooms. The apartment consists of three double en-suite bedrooms and one twin bedroom which has a toilet and sink adjacent to the room. Two of the four bedrooms have spectacular Matterhorn views.

Chalet d'Amore is a great luxury family-friendly ski chalet in Zermatt. Only 240 metres from the ski bus stop as well as the children’s play area, the location couldn’t be better. And the chalet is spacious, allowing everyone to unwind after a day on the slopes. Grab a hot tub and watch your favourite movie with the kids – bliss!

Location

Chalet d’Amore is in a fantastic location, only 240 metres from the free ski bus stop, restaurant, children’s play area and a shop. It takes six minutes to walk to the Klein Matterhorn ski lift and twelve minutes to the centre of the village where the main bars and restaurants are located. Zermatt is a car-free resort, so access is usually via train from the last stop at Tasch – it takes 10 minutes to Zermatt. You can also be picked up by a private vehicle all the way to Zermatt main train station. The nearest airport is Sion, 1hr 30 minutes away and Geneva and Zurich 3hrs 30 minutes.
