Plus, your chef has been trained in fine dining, so a ski holiday is sure to be spectacular. 

Overview

Located just metres away from the slopes, the luxurious Chalet Elangeni boasts one of the best locations within La Tania. The chalet sits in a raised position, overlooking the pistes below and is just 50m from the pedestrian elevator taking you down to resort level where there is a nice selection of local shops and eateries.

Stepping inside, this luxury La Tania chalet will be sure to wow you. The magnificent high vaulted ceilings of the open-plan living area allow for light to fill the room, and there is a generous south-facing terrace where the outdoor hot tub can be found. This is the best spot to relax and watch the sun dip down over the snow-capped mountains and admire the twinkling lights as the village comes to life. Wondering where the name comes from? “Elangeni” is Zulu for “A place in the sun”!

There’s plenty of space for the whole group to relax: in-chalet entertainment ranges from table football or table tennis to relaxing with a film in the TV snug room. Plus, you can soothe any tired legs in the sauna, and it has a convenient shower room next door. 

This lovely catered ski chalet to rent is run by a team who are based in La Tania all year round, so you can rest assured you will be taken care of. During your stay, you will have a dedicated and experienced team who will look after you. They are carefully chosen for their passion for cooking, a flair for entertaining, and high level of customer care. The in-resort driver is on-call all day and will drop you at the foot of the slopes or pick you up from the bar. 

Chalet Elangeni sleeps up to 15 guests across 8 bedrooms. Three double rooms are located on the ground floor, each with en-suite shower rooms. The remaining 5 bedrooms are on the second floor. Three double bedrooms each with an en-suite shower room and two sharing a balcony. Across the landing, there are a further two bedrooms, a double with an en-suite bathroom and a separate single bedroom with a shower. The two rooms can work well as a family suite for a young family, as there is a door to the landing, making a nice private space for the two rooms together.

Chalet Elganeni is a fantastic family-friendly chalet in La Tania. There is so much to keep the kids occupied off the slopes from table football or table tennis to relaxing with a film in the TV snug room, plus this luxury chalet also has board games if you prefer more low-tech amusements! Two of the rooms can be taken together to act as a family suite, which is great for those travelling with little ones. 

If you fancy heading out in the evening then do let us know and we can arrange babysitters or nannies.

Location

Chalet Elangeni is located just 50 metres away from the nursery slope. When skiing back into the village you have a choice of green, blue or red runs. This luxury chalet is just 50m from the pedestrian elevator taking you down to the resort centre, and you also have a complimentary driver service throughout your stay. Transfer from Geneva airport is around 2.5 hours. Please do let us know if you’d like transfers organised – it’s these touches we know make a holiday really work.
