Be the first to stay in the exceptional Chalet Etoile du Nord, launching for the 2022/23 season. Comprising of two adjoining seven-bedroom chalets (East Wing and West Wing) centrally located in Val d’Isere, reached via a private, tunnelled entrance, with lifts to all floors, this chalet could not be more exclusive and private.With seven-bedrooms and bathrooms sleeping up to 14 guests, this vast chalet encompasses the most stunning areas for entertaining, playing or relaxing both inside and out. Whether it be in the pool, spa, the designer kitchen, or sumptuous sofas this chalet really does have everything you could wish for.

Overview

“Wow” is the reaction of most guests who enter the Chalet Etoile du Nord – is it for the spectacular view of the mountain from the vast living room windows, or is it for the stunning chimney breast above the fireplace, or the bronzed steel staircase – a literal work of art! We believe it’s the whole of this remarkable chalet.

Thoughtful design runs throughout – the open-plan living area houses a bespoke kitchen with a large central stone island where more relaxed family meals can be enjoyed sitting on bar stools, but for a more special dining experience then it has to be at the beautiful dining table that can seat up to 12 guests, the space continues through to a generous seating area with large comfortable sofas, wood-burning fireplace, where our butler can pour you a crisp glass of wine (or whatever your tipple of choice is), and serve you some sensational canapés – trust us we’ve tried them! From here you can step outside onto the balcony to take in the view.

Luxurious rooms designed with comfort and sophistication in mind, the décor is tasteful, elegant and practical – reading lights for those who can’t put down that page turner, most rooms have stunning views and all rooms include en-suite sleek marble bathrooms, some with spacious walk-in showers, others with deep baths to slip into and relax with the music on (Sonos is built-in throughout the chalet).

The spa area is so zen you might not even want to hit the slopes – with its amazing indoor/outdoor swimming pool – it has a retractable glass wall which can be lowered or lifted as desired and as the weather allows – enjoy a swim outside in the snow, or stay in the warm spa area of the pool before hopping out to sample the steam room, a shower, relaxation zone, massage room or get your miles in on the Peloton bike! A small terrace with sun loungers leads you to the hot tub.

The chalet wouldn’t be complete without a dedicated ski boot room with heated boot warmers and ample space to remove your ski wear to leave to dry overnight. The lift can swiftly take you to any floor of the chalet.

This fully serviced luxury chalet includes a private cook to serve cooked and continental breakfast, freshly baked afternoon tea, pre-dinner canapés with champagne; and a professional chef for a four-course dinner on six evenings, complete with the finest selection of complimentary wines, beers and soft drinks.

Daily housekeeping and an evening turn down service ensure your comfort and complete relaxation. In addition, a premium concierge service prior to your arrival and for the duration of the stay; complimentary ski instructor for your first two days; in-chalet ski and boot delivery service; lift pass delivery service; and dedicated in-resort 4×4 driving service (from 8:00am until 8:00pm) ensure your holiday is hassle free.

KIDS

Grown-ups and children will find it hard to be unimpressed by the chalet’s chic ground floor games room. This spacious playroom boasts a large wall mounted TV, huge sofa area, fully stocked bar, pool table, and underwater window to the pool!

Children’s supper can be prepared early on six days to enable you to enjoy your evenings your way. Cots and highchairs are available on request.

Three bedrooms have the ability to transform to twin rooms as the large double beds can be unzipped into singles. There is a large children’s room which is home to two bunk beds to rest four little one’s heads.

Part of the exclusive corner known as Petite Alaska in Val d’Isere, Chalet Etoile du Nord is ideally situated a mere 3 minutes by car or a 10 minute walk to both the centre of town and the nearest ski lifts (Bellevard express or Solaise express). The nearest airport is Chambery at just under 2 hours. Geneva and Lyon are 3 hours away
