Chalet Everest is a striking freestanding chalet to the side of the Pralong piste which runs down to the main Croisette area of Courchevel 1850. From the outside it looks like your classic luxury ski lodge, yet inside there are so many unique features.
Overview
The Chalet Everest is located in the Nogentil area of Courchevel 1850, France. Large terraces wrap around the chalet to offer breathtaking views of the Saint Bon Valley and the mountain that surrounds it.
Enter the chalet on floor -2 which is also where the impressive wellness area can be found. This includes an indoor swimming pool, massage shower, hammam, jacuzzi and a massage room. This floor also has the staff accommodation.
The chalet is run by a chef and chalet host. The chef will be on hand for 8 hrs a day to prepare lunch and evening meal, while the housekeeper will be there for 5 hours per day to prepare breakfast and daily cleaning. There is also the option to add additional extras such as driver, masseur which are just some of the services available.
Located in the Nohentil area of Courchevel 1850, you are surrounded by pine forests and yet just 50 form the blue Pralong piste. There is a 400m ski down to the ski lifts to start your day and reach the ski school. Alternatively the walk or drive down is around 1610m as is the resort centre taking around 7 minutes. Here you will find Courchevel 1850 many boutique shops, deli and restaurants including 6 Michelin starred choices.
The incredible facilities within chalet Everest are second to none. The lowest floor has the stunning indoor pool with centre island, massage shower and surrounded by scenes of the Alpine sunset. The huge hammam, sauna and massage room complete the spa experience.
The social space is open plan with high vaulted timber ceilings and natural colour schemes. The dining area and quirky dining chairs connect with the seating area with large deep sofas by the central stone firepit and beautifully designed angular steel chimney. Oozing with alpine charm there are so many interesting antique artefacts around the chalet.
Interior has that classic ski lodge feel with heavy stone and ornately carved wood throughout. Each of the bedrooms is spacious with antique Savoyarde furnishings, cow hide rugs and en-suite facilities. A smaller bunk room is ideal for 2 kids to share. Each of the floors is serviced by a central lift and large wooden spiral staircase.
Guests will be welcomed at the property to talk through all details of your holiday. Throughout your stay you will be well looked after by your chalet host who will prepare breakfast each day and carry out the daily clean. The chalet chef will then prepare lunch and your evening meal (food charged at the end of your stay).
The Everest is a catered chalet in courchevel 1850 which will suit most groups of 8-10 guests. This will be perfect for a group of friends who enjoy the sophisticated and chic resort of Courchevel 1850. There is so much apres, dining and shops to suit all tastes. Families will love the easy ski access and to be able to return to the indoor pool which gives the kids so much to do.

The chalet makes the ideal trip for a large family event or group of families. There is so much to explore and outdoor space to build snowmen in the winter or run around in summer. The hamlet of Montriond offers a safe environment to let them explore. The driver service can shuttle anyone to ski school or up to lifts.
