Chalet Himalaya is as sumptuous as it gets. Each of the 4 stunning bedroom suites enjoys under flooring heating with independent controls with separate sleeping and relaxation areas. The exquisitely comfortable hand-made hardwood king-size (or twin) beds are enhanced with antique carvings which frame the bevelled mirror features, artfully concealing discreet reading lamps when not in use. The marble walls of the bath are adorned with delicately engraved snowflakes, and the baths have such impressive proportions that under French building rules are classified as  ‘swimming pools’, also commands a rain shower and converts into a steam room – easily seating up to 4 or more persons, with remote-controlled lights. What’s more, each room also features a fur or leather-covered day bed to lounge on, complete with a sunken ice bucket. A stone-surround metal fireplace with real flames that can be modulated by remote control adds to the ambience in each room.

What more could you want? Well, it doesn’t stop there. Your personal chef is at the ready creating culinary delights morning to night including rustling up some tasty children’s suppers and a private in-resort chauffeur is on standby to whisk you around the resort 8 am-1 am. Private transfers, ski lessons and other in resort activities can easily be arranged as can nannies and babysitters, all pre-booked by The Chalet Edit in-house concierge team.
