La Datcha is a contemporary property which is set at the heart of the elegant resort of Courchevel 1850, France. Close proximity to the pistes and the resort centre allows guests to make the most of this incredible resort. Set over a huge 6 floors and 938m2 of floor space the five luxurious double bedrooms make up the accommodation to sleep 10 guests. All bedrooms have en suite facilities and beautifully finished with beautiful cotton bedding, flat screen TVs and striking views across the mountain range.
Overview
Chalet Datcha is one of a group of flagship chalets, the Courchevel 1850 property is a stone and wood freestanding chalet. Inside the decor is contemporary with classic alpine features. There is an open plan living space which comprises a grand dining table and leather chairs, there are two living areas to the side with comfy sofas and cosy armchairs. The muralled fireplace has been so beautifully painted to offer a piece of artwork all of its own.The chalet staff will cater for all your needs after which guests can retire around the fire in the sitting room for post dinner coffee and digestifs or choose to cigar from the cigar room.
Chalet Datcha is located in the Chenus area of the resort, this elevated position allows incredible views. The Rue des Chenus is just 50m from the Petit dou piste, from here skiers can head down the green piste main Croisette hub with all the main ski lifts and resort centre. There is also a driver service that runs between 9am - 7pm to take skiers directly to the lifts and ski school, this is a 2 minute drive.The property has a wonderful array of facilities including a wellness area with indoor pool, ice shower, sauna, indoor hot tub, hammam, fitness area and massage room. This allows so much for non-skiers to do for a perfect spa holiday in the incredible mountain surroundings.There is an elevator to access each of the 5 floors. A bar in the living space to create an apres cocktail and enjoy a well deserved beer as well as a wine cellar with excellent choice of wine.For the interior design, the architects used the traditional chalet style decor, including natural upholstery and wooden floors, walls, furniture, and bars for the ceiling.Each bedroom is spacious with lush bedding, chandelier standard lamps and incredible views from the balconies. There is a flat screen TV in each room with satellite channels and en suite facilities. The largest of the bedrooms is the master that has 2 wardrobes, seating area and office space.The 5 chalet staff in the chalet Datcha are sure to guarantee guests have the best experience possible.
The Chalet manager will oversee everything and make sure your week runs smoothly. A fully trained and experienced chef will create some delicious meals for your breakfast, afternoon tea and 4 course evening meal 6 nights of the week. Butler and housekeepers will also look after the property and service your food. Finally a resort driver will ferry guests around to any other areas of the resort.The chalet’s fantastic location, just 50m from the green piste down to Croisette, makes the Datcha very popular with all guests. Parents will love not having to carry skis and all levels appreciate the quick return in the afternoon. Skiers can return to the incredible spa facilities and enjoy a well earnt apres ski drink surrounded by all the luxuries of the spa and decadent decor.
