It is hard to beat the penthouse apartment Chalet Le Cygne. You will be captivated by the large bay windows, which perfectly frame the panoramic mountain views. We love sitting with a glass of bubbles and watching the snow fall outside. This luxury self-catered chalet apartment is in one of the best locations in Meribel, just moments from the Rond Point, and with ski-in access too.

Overview

Chalet Le Cygne is a stunning luxury penthouse in the exclusive Le Yana residence in Meribel Belvédère. Ideally located in the exclusive Belvedere area of Meribel, this luxury chalet is only 100m from the Rhodos Piste. And thanks to its elevated setting, you get to enjoy panoramic mountain views across the Meribel Valley.  Plus you have ski-in access. 

Split over two levels, the penthouse offers a chalet feel to host a group of up to 8 guests in comfort. This is a modern and stylish self-catered apartment in Meribel, that is perfect for both friends and families. After a day on the slopes, you will be welcomed back into the large open-plan living area which has been thoughtfully designed with a modern alpine-style style. The ceiling stretched up to 3 metres high, making the room feel incredibly spacious. The cosy fireplace is the perfect finishing touch.

As expected with a self-catered ski apartment, there is a well-equipped kitchen for the nights you don’t want to explore Meribel’s restaurant scene. The elegant dining space is a comfortable set-up for 8 guests to convene together.

As well as a welcoming lounge area, Chalet Portillo has a private sauna where you can soothe your tired legs after a day skiing around the Three Valleys, as well as a hammam shower in the master bedroom.  The apartment comes with a ski locker and boot warmers, plus 2 covered car parking spaces.

This luxury Meribel chalet sleeps 8  guests across four bedrooms. The master bedroom is situated on the main living floor and offers a dressing area and a large en-suite with the hammam shower. The upper floor is home to the remaining three bedrooms, two of which share a Jack & Jill bathroom.

Chalet Le Cygne can be booked alongside Apartment Portillo to accommodate 16-18 guests. Suitable for larger group ski holidays, these two properties are found in the same building.

Chalet Le Cygne is a great family-friendly chalet in Meribel, for those looking for a self-catered ski holiday. You are only moments from the Rond Point, allowing for easy ski access, and during your stay, you also have a driver service, which makes getting to and from ski school a breeze. The kids will love watching movies in the cosy living room, whilst the adults chat around the dining table.

The Chalet Edit is always on hand to ensure you have everything you need before you depart, from kids equipment to dietary requirements, nannies or other special requests.

Guests can begin their day with a hearty breakfast, and after a thrilling day on the slopes, they return to a delightful afternoon tea spread, complete with daily UK newspapers to enjoy in a comfortable armchair.

Evenings can feature a sumptuous four-course meal, starting with canapés by the log fire. This operator takes pride in their adaptability, flexibility, and diverse culinary offerings. They recognise that each guest has unique tastes and strive to accommodate any dietary needs, whether due to food intolerances or personal preferences. 

Location

Chalet Le Cygne is in a prime location, in the ‘Belvédère’ region of Meribel. At the end of your ski day, you can return to your apartment by ski from the green Rhodos piste. The Rhodos gondola mid-station is only 100m away, and your complimentary driver service can take you down to Meribel Centre within 10 minutes. The Ronnie is just 650m away, and here you will find the free bus stop too. For those that can ski already, you can ski directly to the Adret chairlift. Chambery airport is just 1h 15m by car and Lyon and Geneva are around 2hrs away. Please do let us know if you’d like transfers organised – it’s these touches we know make a holiday really work.
