A decadent mix of old world and new this luxury chalet provides everything you could wish for, with a separate spa area including a beautiful indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam, indoor hot tub, well-equipped gym, and large relaxation area.
Overview
Nestled within the exclusive Hameau area in Verbier, Chalet Makini is ski-in/ski-out and offers everything for the discerning traveller. With state of the art facilities, modern art, first-class dining and an enviable cellar this is relaxing at its finest.
Fully serviced you will enjoy a la carte breakfast, huge afternoon teas, which can be had in the main living area or in the extensive relaxation area by the pool and spa facilities. Dinner will be discussed before your departure and can be either seven-course decadence or something simpler – whichever you prefer.
The area around the L’Hammeau lake is one of exclusivity and with this Chalet offering privacy and security, yet still being a ski-in/ski-out chalet you can’t wish for a better location. A mere 1km from the resort, your private driver will make short work of the drive to whichever shop, bar or lift you are heading for or returning from. The view over the lake from the south-facing balcony makes it a top spot for a coffee or a moment to unwind.
The jewel in this crowning glory of a chalet is the swimming pool and spa facilities. The spa is known to be one of Verbier’s largest and the complex is a short walk from the main property ensuring a unique experience. The spa includes a beautiful indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, indoor hot tub, gym and a large relaxation area. You can also perhaps book yourself to an expert private massage, yoga session or just enjoy an indulgent drink or handmade snack to imbibe on one of the sofas or loungers.
Alongside all of this there is space for more relaxation – be it in the raclette and fondue room, one of the living rooms or perhaps spending some time with your host discussing wines in the wine cellar.
The Chalet provides five sumptuously furnished bedrooms sleeping up to 11 and each offers the best bedlinen, bath and body products and en suite bath or shower rooms. The luxury Chalet Makini is in the exclusive L’Hammeau area in Verbier and enjoys the perfect spot with views over the lake. Being ski-in / ski-out you can start the day heading down towards the Le Rouge teleski. Returning at the end of the day, you can ski straight into the chalet from the Les Esserts beginner’s area or from Savoleyres, snow permitting. A private chauffeur will also be able to take you anywhere within the resort. Geneva airport is a 1 hour 50 minutes drive, whilst the regional airport of Sion is only 1 hour away.
