A truly decadent retreat, Chalet Norte is one of the most luxurious chalets in Verbier, with a swimming pool, spa, cinema room, wine cave and oodles of space to relax throughout the five floors. Beautifully designed, the interiors have been immaculately done with warmth and elegance at the heart of Norte.

Overview

If you are looking for the ultimate base for a Verbier ski holiday then Chalet Norte will deliver. Entering the chalet you are immediately struck by the wonderful mix of modern light and space, crossed with the glorious gilt-framed antique art and decadent furnishings. Mod cons include state of the artfully integrated music and lighting system and the Cinema room will be showing all the latest films or old favourites. Fully staffed your every need will be catered for here, from the delicious breakfasts to an afternoon and evening of sublime tea and dinner. Balconies and terraces abound, all offering insane views over the valley and out to the mountains that surround it. Often sitting above the clouds you’ll be able to enjoy a coffee, or if later perhaps a vin chaud or glass of champagne in the sun, comfy on cushioned chairs, warmed by cosy rugs, or from the hot tub of course. The spa area will soon be beckoning though, with its glorious swimming pool, sauna and steam room and large lounge area. Light and bright by day, considerately lit at night this space is spa award-worthy and if you fancy some first-class treatments then these can be booked for one of the private treatment rooms.


With a driver available from 8am till 1am, the short drive to the resort centre or Medran lift will never be an issue meaning you can quickly gain access to  Switzerland’s largest ski area with over 400 km of pistes.

This luxury catered chalet truly offers something for everything, the active can enjoy the gym and swimming pool, the fatigued can lounge away in the cinema room or reading in front of the fire, the thirsty can spend some time in the secret yet spacious wine cave with its portholes into the swimming pool. Sleeping up to 12 + 4 children, children may be found messing around in their quad room with its four bunk beds, or in the games room, or outside in the hot tub.

When it all gets too much you’ll be able to retreat to your sumptuous bedrooms, all providing the comfiest of beds, the finest of linens, robes and slippers and little luxury touches you’d only expect at the finest of chalets. The master bedroom is a  beautiful space, taking up the whole top floor and offers a dressing room, private balcony and private lounge area offering the most beautiful views. One twin room is also a self-contained flat as has a small kitchen and living area.

With the chef working away in the kitchen your hosts will ensure you have the perfect morning coffee, tea or bespoke juice. Breakfast can be a la carte or more continental – you’ll be contacted beforehand to go through your tastes and preferences with a careful consultation. Afternoon tea will be ready for your return from skiing, and dinner will also be just as you wish, be it a traditional alpine raclette or four-course fusion.
