The idyllic Chalet Opale Ambre is a combination of Chalet Opale and Chalet Ambre, situated alongside each other in a quiet enclave of Tignes Le Lac, close to the action whilst also providing privacy. Booked together, these luxury chalets are ideal for large groups, allowing everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy their luxury mountain escape.

Perfectly blending modern and contemporary furnishings with authentic alpine décor Chalet Opale Ambre is a prestigious luxury chalet combining neighbouring properties (Chalet Opale & Chalet Ambre), therefore sleeping up to 21 guests. This large luxury catered chalet is perfect for friends and families wanting absolute relaxation for unforgettable moments.

Just off the Almes Piste, Chalet Opale Ambre offers the perfect spot to explore the Espace Killy area and, for all the ski fiends, a bonus will be that with good snow conditions one can simply ski back to the chalet, however, it is a simple minute’s walk otherwise. For those with children, or wanting to start the days skiing from another spot, your driver will be ready and waiting to whisk you off.


Both chalets boast spacious open plan living and dining areas, decorated with soft lighting, clean lines, stones and natural wood to create a haven of sophistication. By combining both chalets, your large group is split for choice on where to catch up on the day’s antics. It is also ideal for two family groups travelling together as you will both have your own space but can gather together in the evenings for meals and drinks, all prepared by your private chefs. 

A custom-made football table and Ping Pong table will undoubtedly entertain everyone. And there is no better place to relax after a day on the slopes than in the outdoor hot tubs, which are found on the terrace. Take in the uninterrupted views of the surrounding peaks and Tignes le Lac whilst sipping champagne and watching the world go by – bliss!

The food here is spectacular and catered chalets don’t come much better. Your professionally trained chef will rustle up a daily breakfast to suit every guest’s taste and requirements to ensure you all start your day right. Later an afternoon tea will be served on your return from your adventures on the piste. Canapes and champagne will precede the main event – supper! Being ski in during good snow its handy access to the Almes piste means it's possible to be skiing super fast.The airport distance by car is 2hr 15m to Chambery, 2h 30m to Grenoble, and 3hrs to both Geneva and Lyon.
