Set in an enviable location, perched on the rocks above the river Isere and is perfectly located at the bottom of the blue Mangard ski run, this luxury chalet in Val d'Isere is one of the best. Boasting an indoor pool with a flow system and a Moroccan steam room, as well as an impressive living area, you may never make it out onto the slopes!
Overview
Situated beautifully next to her sister chalet, Vieux Pont, Chalet Rive Gauche is an exceptional chalet in Val d’Isere with inspiring interiors and a unique location above the Isère river gorge. An indoor pool and hammam, and a home run piste back to the door of the property spoil skiers choosing this special chalet.
You enter the chalet into the reception area and ski room where there is a convenient place for ski storage and all-important boot warmers. Head up to the first floor where you will find the main sleeping area of the chalet. Three of these rooms are a king or twin rooms and are flexible on how they are configured. They benefit from mainly west-facing views to catch the evening sun. There is also a small room that contains adult-sized, fixed reclaimed wood bunk beds, with its own wash space.
The chalet truly comes into its own on the second floor. A huge living and dining area boasts double-height windows, so huge amounts of light flood onto this floor. The log fireplace is a central focus for the room, making it the perfect spot for exchanging stories about your day whilst enjoying a glass of fizz. Plus, there is an outside terrace overlooking the river and the Italian border mountains.
Chalet Rive Gauche is fully catered to the highest standard and includes a private chef and on-call driver service to whisk you around the resort from 8am until 8pm. There is even a ski room with heated boot warmers and covered parking below the penthouse, so you don’t have to step into the cold of a morning.
Chalet Rive Gauche can be combined with Chalet Vieux Pont perfectly to cater for a group of twenty.
