Chalet Silver is the ultimate 5* luxury penthouse apartment in Verbier. Just as highly desirable close up, I’ve seen the ultra-spacious Chalet Silver and the property really is superior in every way.  Its location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the centre of Verbier but you still enjoy access to 24-hour driver service. The outdoor hot tub on the south-facing balcony boasts phenomenal views over to the valley below. Silver shares the same building as Chalet Treize Etoiles, so combined it can sleep up 24. Sheer luxury and pampering are on offer here with access to a shared sauna, hammam and plunge pool, plus high tech entertainment with Xbox and a plethora of children’s games, to Wifi and iPad, extensive DVD library, not to mention your very own private professional chalet chef and host to consider your every wish. Extremely popular, worth booking early.

Chalet Silver occupies the second floor of a beautiful Alpine timber building with bags of Swiss-style.  A private lift whisks you directly into the chalet, and prepare to be delighted – as you walk into a colossal open plan living and dining area, bursting with warmth and ambience with oversized brown leather armchairs and sofas. The interior space is filled with character and artefacts; stag antlers frame the natural stone open fireplace that dominates the central living area, flanked by floor-to-ceiling French windows and doors, that lead you directly onto the breathtaking south-facing balcony. A private hot tub awaits, so with a glass of bubbles in one hand, you can soak up those phenomenal panoramic vistas and ogle as the sun sets over the mountain, in an après-ski afterglow.

With 10 staff members, including a General Chalet Manager, Chalet Hosts, and Housekeepers, the focus is on attentive service, including daily housekeeping and a mid-week towel change, to keep the chalet in immaculate condition.
