For those looking for something peaceful and truly unique Chalet V is a joy to behold and sleeps from 8 - 12 guests.

With sumptuous south-facing terraces, a large heated outdoor pool, cosy TV room, outdoor hot tub and sauna. What’s more skiing from the chalet couldn't be easier, with the town centre and lifts a 3 minute chauffeured drive from the chalet. Chalet V even has its own private ski room located at the foot of the slopes and gondola that connects you swiftly to Verbier centre. With exceptional service and such fabulous facilities on offer, we urge you to escape the norm and experience true luxury at its finest, in this fabulous luxury alpine retreat.

Overview

Brand new to our portfolio for the 2019/2020 season is the elegant and refined Chalet V. Nestled above the rustic resort of La Tzoumaz, in the adjacent valley to Verbier offering access to 400Km of slopes in the wonderful 4 Valleys ski area.

It’s all about location here, with jaw-dropping panoramic views over the Rhone valley and swift access to the Verbier valley via the La Tzoumaz lift station, just 3 minutes from the chalet door with your private driver. What’s more, the chalet has ski storage at the lift station, so you can ski straight from the bottom of the slopes.

Chalet V’s crowning glory is the year-round heated outdoor pool (32 °C) with its extra-large hot tub and fire-pit framing amazing valley views. Inside, further wellness facilities include a sauna and steam shower, along with a cosy TV room with Netflix, retro-90’s pinball machine and table tennis, perfect for keeping little ones entertained.

At Chalet V, large south-facing terraces wrap around every floor making the most of those stunning views and bathing the chalet with natural light. The chalet has been beautifully designed throughout with the use of rustic wood and natural stone providing a backdrop for muted elegant soft furnishings and a modern lighting scheme. The vaulted living room with a roaring fire and open plan kitchen-diner provides the perfect setting for relaxing after a tiring ski day.

Sleeping up to 12 guests in 5 elegant bedrooms Chalet V offers ski groups plenty of flexibility. The master bedroom on the top floor is a true haven of peace with its own open plan en-suite bathroom and private balcony, whilst the first floor has two double bedrooms, a twin and a bunk room with 4 adult-sized bunk beds – these rooms share three beautifully appointed large bathrooms.

Chalet V delivers on so many levels. A talented chef in the kitchen at the ready, creating culinary delights from delicious breakfasts to a mouth-watering evening meal, washed down with complimentary fine wines and that’s after you’ve quaffed bubbles and canapés apres ski. Let’s not forget the pre-warmed ski boots each morning courtesy of the heated ski boot room at the foot of the gondola.

Chalet V has been priced for 8 guests on a fully catered basis with 4 additional guests on request at an extra charge per person for the week. This chalet can also be booked on a self-catered basis – please get in touch for more details.

Chalet V is also happy to welcome dogs to the chalet upon request.

KIDS

Kids will love this chalet, with its amazing outdoor heated pool and a large hot tub to boot. That’s probably where they will want to spend the majority of their holiday. However, for a change of scene, there is great a TV room, a table tennis table and a cool pinball machine to keep them entertained.

The Chalet Edit team will even help you pre-book ski school, childcare and nannies, no requests are too tricky.

Enjoy a luxury continental breakfast with local products every morning, and on five evenings, a three-course dinner with local wines. Housekeeping is provided daily, with mid-week towel changes and amenities like luxury toiletries, slippers, robes, and fine linens.

For the Ultimate Luxury Experience, indulge in daily cooked and continental breakfasts, healthy local products, afternoon tea on six days, and a gourmet four-course dinner with European wine pairings on six evenings. The chef caters to dietary preferences and specific requests. Enjoy pre-dinner cocktails or champagne with canapés, soft drinks, and beers throughout your stay. Chalet V in La Tzoumaz, sits in the adjacent valley to Verbier, with access to 400Km of slopes in the wonderful 4 Valleys ski area in the heart of the Valais Region. The chalet is located 3 minutes from the La Tzoumaz lift station, offering swift access to the Verbier valley. Plus the chalet has ski storage at the foot of the lift station, so you can ski straight from the bottom of the slopes. The chalets setting on the Plateau de Villy enjoys a micro-climate with over 300 sunny days a year and boasts stunning panoramic views over the Rhône valley and the Alps. The village of La Tzoumaz itself is developing swiftly as the smaller brother to Verbier, on the other side of the mountain with two fabulous new bars open for the 2019/2020 season and much refurbishment and new building taking place. La Tzoumaz has a fantastic north facing position, allowing for superb snow conditions throughout the winter. The access to Verbier is easy and in high season you will be spared the long queues at the main gondolas in Verbier, allowing you to reach les Attelas/Ruinettes more quickly than coming from Médran. To get back to the village, experienced skiers can directly pass through the beautiful “Vallon d’Arbi” without descending to Verbier first. The resort has much to offer, be it the 410km of slopes or the 10km sledge run, one of the longest in Switzerland. Geneva Airport is 2 hours away whilst the smaller airport of Sion is just 45 minutes.
