Overview

The Chalet Violette is set in a Ski-In/Ski-Out location on the blue Belle Plagne piste between the high altitude resorts of Bellecote and Belle Plagne within La Plagne, France. From here you have a huge ski area to explore around many of the villages in La Plagne as well as over the Vanoise Express to Les Arcs. It can be hard to find Luxury Ski Chalets in La Plagne, the Violette is the perfect option for those looking for luxury at high altitude.

The chalet comprises 6 bedrooms, all en suite, to accommodate 12 guests. Each bedroom has access to a south facing balcony. Laidout over three floors to allow plenty of space; it has been well thought out to offer plenty of space and privacy for its guests. 

A number of service options are available in the Violette, self-catered – includes linen and towels included as well as cleaning at the beginning and end of your stay. Bed and breakfast – in addition to self catered service includes a continental breakfast delivery, daily cleaning, concierge team during your stay and bathroom amenities provided. Catered service includes VIP welcome with local wines, canapes and fresh flowers, Continental breakfast, fine dining in one of the hotels 2 restaurants 6 evenings a week as well as a shared driver service between 8am – 8pm


Linked with the Hotel Carlina, the Violette along with its neighbours Chalet Hugo and Chalet Juliette are set on the edge of the piste to offer Ski-In/Ski-Out access. Larger groups have the option to book two-three chalets next to each other or add guests in the Hotel rooms . The location is between Bellecote and Belle Plagne at a height of 2000m for a snow sure ski holiday. The views across the mountain are stunning and the sun sets have to be seen to be believed. 

Recently refurbished in a beautiful modern style. The living space has modern artwork on the walls, cosy sofas with unique furnishing touches throughout. The record player and wood burning stove give the chalet a relaxed slow pace for the most peaceful holiday. Each bedroom is en suite with their own interior design, some with exposed stone walls, others wood cladding. All have south facing doors out to a balcony with incredible views over the pistes and mountains.

The flexibility of the Violette service will meet everyone’s needs. For those that do choose self-catered bed and breakfast or catered service there is the use of the Hotel Carlina’s huge sun terrace for an apres ski drink or cocktail and choice of 2 restaurants. A private sauna within the chalet is the perfect answer to sore muscles, and there is the option to make the most of the hotel’s pool and spa facilities (additional charge). 

The resort staff are on hand to make your stay as relaxed as possible and the pre-departure concierge service will allow you to have everything booked before you arrive.

A free bus service runs between Bellecote, Plagne Centre and Plagne 1800 should you need it. 

peaceful location within the mountains and Ski-in/Ski-Out location make it ideal for keen skiers to make the most of a full day on the mountains. 

As well as the hotel’s bar there are some great apres ski bars within Bellecote, including Le Bonnet and Spitting feathers.

The family friendly element of the chalet includes easy ski access for kids along a blue piste to take all to ski school, ski guiding or private tuition. The optional extra of the use of the hotel’s pool to keep the kids entertained.

This luxury catered chalet is perfectly located with Ski-In/Ski-Out access and only a short walk (or shorter lift with your driver) from town.
