Found on the top floor, Chalet Zora is a luxury penthouse apartment in Zermatt, that has unmatched views over the Zermatt village and the Matterhorn. With a spacious lounge, wood-burning fireplace and cosy interiors, this luxury chalet apartment is a perfect mountain getaway for small groups.

Overview

In a prime location in the picturesque resort of Zermatt, Chalet Zora is a stunning chalet apartment with incredible views over the Zermatt village rooftops dominated by the Matterhorn.

This modern luxury chalet apartment has a cosy alpine feel throughout thanks to its sloping wooden-beamed ceilings and traditional furnishing. The living area benefits from a double-height ceiling which creates a really spacious feel. And what’s more, the tall south-facing windows are floor to ceiling, so you can enjoy a permanent panorama, both night and day, over the twinkling village and its majestic mountains. There is nowhere better to enjoy a glass of wine than on the sumptuous sofa whilst taking in the views.

This luxury Zermatt chalet can sleep up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms. The three bedrooms have wood-beamed sloping ceilings and are all large and cosy. One bathroom has a bath and shower, whilst the other features a large shower.

Chalet Zora can also be rented with the adjacent Chalet Zeus to sleep 12 – 14 guests. The Zermatt Lodge in the neighbouring building offers a further 10 beds for a larger group.

Chalet Zora is the perfect cosy chalet in Zermatt for families. The lounge is the perfect place to all gather after a day on the slopes and play games, or get hot chocolates out in front of a movie.

Childcare can also be easily arranged by your concierge, so you get adult leisure time. Supper is as hassle-free as it gets, as the chef is happy to prepare child-friendly meals, served at whatever time in the evening suits.

Location

Chalet Zora is in the Spiss area of Zermatt at the head of the village. The train station and the Sunnegga Express base lift are both a five-minute walk away. There is a bus stop just outside the building. Zermatt is a car-free resort, so access is usually via the mountain train from the valley below. You can also be picked up by a private vehicle all the way to Zermatt main train station. The nearest airport is Sion, 1hr 30 minutes away and Geneva and Zurich are 3hrs 30 minutes.
