Zermatt’s internationally acclaimed architect, Heinz Julen, designed this extraordinary double-level 260m2 penthouse with an array of ingenious concepts such as a fireplace nesting in the middle of the living-room window, and original hand-made furniture, including Julen’s famous chandeliers and chairs. It’s no surprise that this penthouse is regularly featured in various designer magazines.

The spectacular large living room enjoys three separate seating areas, a wonderful dining section, a sleek designer open-plan kitchen and two fantastic terraces with spectacular bird’s nest views over Zermatt.
This luxury chalet sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms. Two double bedrooms boast high beamed ceilings each with its own en-suite shower/WC, TV and a balcony. The top floor is home to the amazing master bedroom with a free-standing round jacuzzi bath, sloping glass ceilings, stunning views, and a separate en-suite shower/WC. On the ground floor is a smaller, separate fourth double bedroom with an in-room jet shower and en-suite WC.
Access is a 2-minute walk from the top of the Omnia Hotel lifts (guests are given a private key). The village end of the lift delivers you to the heart of Zermatt, in the main street close to the church. Guests also enjoy half-price access (between 1-5pm) to the Genesis Spa of the Backstage Hotel. You also have a private glass-fronted sauna, an exercise room with a treadmill and two loungers to relax in, as well as a Jacuzzi bath is one of the bedrooms – be sure to have a glass of champagne in hand.
