Found in the Pied de la Plagne, The Bungo is the ultimate ski chalet apartment for a small group getaway, close to the heart of Morzine. With lots of luxurious amenities, you’ll be forgiven if you want to stay indoors all day - but make sure to head to the outdoor hot tub!

Overview

Brand newly renovated for the 2024/2025 season to a jaw-dropping level of interior syle. Chalet Bungo is perfection – stylishly decorated with incredible facilities and in a central location, Chalet Bungo is the perfect winter getaway. This modern ski chalet is situated in one of the sunniest locations in Morzine, making it the perfect choice for both winter and summer holidays in the French Alps.

The chalet is airy and full of light, as well as offering great views of Côte-d’Abroz and Mont Chéry. The living area is a large, modern, open plan lounge and dining room with a UK Sky TV package, an iPad, GoPro and plenty of board games for an after-dinner games night.

The Bungo spans three levels and includes six bedrooms, accommodating up to 14 guests. Additionally, a sofa bed in the home cinema room provides sleeping space for two more guests. All beds (except the sofa bed) can be converted into twin beds, offering flexibility for holidays with friends, families, or corporate groups.

Outside on the terrace, you will find a stunning heated swimming pool, hot tub, dining table and barbecue making it perfect for both summer and winter. There is no better place to relax than in a warm hot tub with champagne in hand! For those looking to spend summer in the alps, you can barbecue and alfresco dine into the late evening as the sun sets on the terrace. 

A resort ski bus stop is located at the end of the road and offers several routes into the town centre and the ski slopes. Alternatively, you add in a resort driver service at an additional cost making it an excellent and easy self-catered option. There is private parking for two cars too.

KIDS

The children will love the heated outdoor pool and hot tub, plus the large terrace for making snowmen after a day on the slopes, burning off any extra energy they may have. Getting to and from ski lessons is easy with the use of the 24 hour driver service.

The open-plan living area means that the kids can settle down with a movie or board game whilst you prepare dinner and enjoy a drink.

The Chalet Edit is always on hand to ensure you have everything you need before you depart, from kids equipment to dietary requirements, nannies or other special requests.

This owner provides full concierge assistance and dedicated personal service from booking through to the end of your stay. 

A professional chauffeur team with luxury 4x4 mini buses offers 24-hour on-call service, ensuring safe and efficient transportation. They provide door-to-door drop-offs at lift stations, late-night pickups after après-ski, and daytime shuttles for non-skiers to enjoy the town or meet skiers for lunch.

Exquisite food and wine are central to their service. Chefs, passionate about their craft, prepare meals using fresh, local ingredients. Guests enjoy delicious breakfasts, afternoon teas, pre-dinner canapés, and four-course dinners five nights a week. Specific dietary needs and requests are discussed prior to arrival. Complimentary house wines, champagne, prosecco, and a full bar are available, with an extensive range of upgraded wines and champagnes available for pre-order.

Location

The Bungo is a luxury chalet in Morzine located in a peaceful residential district found at the top of town as you come into Morzine, on the opposite side of the River Dranse to Montriond. For skiing, the chalet is 5-minutes drive from both the Pleney and Super Morzine gondolas, giving access to the ski areas of Morzine-Les Gets and Avoriaz respectively. It only takes 5 minutes with the 24 hour driver service to reach Morzine’s lively centre, where you will find many bars, restaurants, cafés and shops. In under 10 minutes drive you can also get to Parc des Dérêches, a sports complex with lots of activities for non-skiers in Morzine. Geneva airport is 1 hour 15 minutes by car.
