The minimalist theme running throughout The Loft creates a true sense of wilderness, however no expense has been spared when it comes to the finer details – the lavish copper bathtubs for example provide a wonderful space where you can really relax and let your mind wander.
The Loft is the largest accommodation in The Stone House residence, looking down the valley and complete with a chef’s kitchen, sleeping 8 across 3 en-suite double bedrooms and bunk room all with access to the shared steam room. The option of an additional bunk bed can be added to ’The Loft’s Bunk Room.
Located just a 10 minute drive away from the nearest lifts and with great access to the villages many shops which include supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, bookstore, post office, treasury, hairdressers, real estate agencies, clothing stores, sports goods, furniture and mountain decorations.
The village of Saint-Jean-d’Aulps also benefits from its own ski area, known as Roc d’Enfer, with access to skiing for all abilities between 970-1800m altitude, including a must-do 5km descent through the surrounding forest. Or if a bit of culture is your thing, Saint-Jean-d’Aulps also is home to a local Cistercian abbey, housing the old monks of a by-gone era.
