Just outside Morzine centre sits catered luxury chalet, The Old Macaroni. This refurbished farmhouse is new for the 2019/2020 season and offers large family groups Alpine luxury at its finest. With a 24-hour driver service and fantastic features including a large cinema room, hot tub on the terrace, and glass-fronted barrel sauna, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. Not to mention some of the best views of the bustling village below from this luxurious Morzine chalet. Overview

The Old Macaroni is a beautifully restored farmhouse in the charming resort of Morzine, in the heart of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. Set in an elevated position with extensive views of the village below this is one of our finest Alpine luxury chalets in Morzine.

This luxury catered chalet is set over four floors, sleeping 14 – 18 guests in 5 en-suite bedrooms and has an additional large mezzanine level with four built-in cabin beds. Full of fantastic features Chalet Old Macaroni is traditional yet fun. With a hidden private office, a super-luxury cinema room, a massive outdoor terrace with a hot tub and an outdoor barrel sauna framing fabulous village views.

Immaculately restored, every detail of The Old Macaroni has been hand-crafted in keeping with the traditional features of the original farmhouse. Offering two beautiful living spaces along with an amazing art deco cinema room with tiered seating, reminiscent of traditional movie theatres. 

The first floor of the chalet has been transformed into a vast double-height lounge with beautiful wooden beams, grand piano, log burning stove and bi-folding doors opening up onto a wrap-around terrace overlooking the church, village and Pleney slopes below. While the ground floor has been converted into a stunning open-plan dining, kitchen and entertaining space, there is a bedroom and a spa treatment room that can become an additional bedroom if needed. This treatment room has a clever hidden double bed with a mattress that can be lowered down to offer further space for large ski groups.

Each bedroom takes influences from the owners favourite novels and features bespoke king-sized beds with flat-screen smart TVs and modern en-suite bathrooms with showers. An open mezzanine level has also been designed to offer an exciting Harry Potter themed children’s room, which can cleverly accommodate adults as well,  in four double built-in cabin beds, each with its own curtain for privacy.

The entrance of the chalet features a large boot room with ample space for drying ski kits and for those who need to work undisturbed, the upper-level office is secretly hidden through a surprise doorway. This luxury chalet really does have it all. 

What’s more, Chalet Old Macaroni is fully catered to the highest standard by trained industry professionals, with a 24-hour driver on-hand to whisk you to and from the lifts in and around Morzine.

Bedroom 1.  1 x Super King-size double bed with en-suite bath on a mezzanine above.

GROUND FLOOR

Bedroom 4. 1 x Super King-size double bed with en-suite shower room.

Bedroom 5.  Massage room with 1 x pull-down Double bed and separate shower room.

MEZZANINE

Bedroom 6. 4 x Built-in double beds – each with its own curtains for privacy. At the bottom of the staircase, there is a bathroom.


All bedrooms have TV/DVD players, hairdryers & straighteners. The built-in beds are doubles.

KIDS

  1. Morzine in the Portes du Soleil, is a fantastic resort for families, with fabulous nursery slopes and ski schools. Chalet 46 offers many types of entertainment for all aged children from the cinema/TV room, games, consoles, DVDs to outdoor fun splashing about in the outdoor Jacuzzi, or frolicking about in the snow just outside. Two bedrooms in the luxury chalet can be used as family rooms, ideal for younger families. Nannies, babysitters and children’s ski tutors to cots and highchairs can all be easily arranged to make your luxury ski holiday as hassle-free as it gets.

A professional chauffeur team with luxury 4x4 mini buses offers 24-hour on-call service, ensuring safe and efficient transportation. They provide door-to-door drop-offs at lift stations, late-night pickups after après-ski, and daytime shuttles for non-skiers to enjoy the town or meet skiers for lunch.

Exquisite food and wine are central to their service. Chefs, passionate about their craft, prepare meals using fresh, local ingredients. Guests enjoy delicious breakfasts, afternoon teas, pre-dinner canapés, and four-course dinners five nights a week. Specific dietary needs and requests are discussed prior to arrival. Complimentary house wines, champagne, prosecco, and a full bar are available, with an extensive range of upgraded wines and champagnes available for pre-order.

Location

Situated above the Church and Marie, The Old Macaroni is about a 10/15 minute stroll into the centre of Morzine or 5 minutes to the bottom end of town where there are some bars and the pretty river Dranse. Or just jump in with your chauffeur where you are within a few minutes of town to the nearest lifts, bars and restaurants. Geneva airport is around 1hr by car.
