Vail Lodge's Penthouse A32 is a classic Ski Lodge set to the side of the piste in Val d’Isere, France. The blue Santons piste runs alongside the chalet building making it easy to come back to your luxury ski accommodation and enjoy a glass of champagne in the hot tub.

Overview

The Penthouse at Vail Lodge has the classic Val d’Isere style with exposed stone and wooden panelling throughout. Located in the Legettaz area of the resort, from here you are a short distance to the main lift hub and resort centre. The property is spread over 2 floors and with mezzanine level covering over 184m² to accommodate 6 adults and 4 children. Views from the huge floor to ceiling windows and balcony look over the Bellevarde, Le Charvet and surrounding mountains.

This beautiful alpine finish is combined with plush soft furnishings, floor to ceiling fireplace and natural colours to give a calm ambience. The living space is open plan with double high penthouse ceilings, overlooked by a wood and glass mezzanine level. Up here there is a cosy seating area which makes  a great board games area of kids. 

The balcony that leads out from the living space is where you will find the luxury wellness facilities, including outdoor hot tub and outdoor barrel sauna. 

The chalet comes on a self catered or Bed and Breakfast service. This allows you to choose the exact catering you will require for your week away. 

The Penthouse A32 is part of the larger Vail Lodge in Val d’Isere, this is set to the end of the Santons piste. From here guests can ski-in/ski-out down 400m to the main hub in the morning and return in the afternoon. Beginners will also find the nursery slopes and drag lifts. Even closer is the Legettaz drag lift which is behind the Vail Lodge and an ideal place to practise.

To walk to the centre is a 10 minute journey alternatively a 4 minute drive using the chalets shuttle service. In the centre there are many shops, bars and restaurants to look around and so much to do off piste in the Aquasportif Centre.  

The Vail Lodge residence houses a number of luxury properties and offers a reception and in-resort concierge service 7 days/week. In the chalet there is a wonderful wellness area out on the balcony including an outdoor hot tub and sauna. Indulge in apres ski drinks in the water and then soak your aching muscles in the heat of the sauna, what better ski accommodation in France?

The duplex apartment allows plenty of space under vaulted timber ceilings. The open plan living space has seating arranged around a large fireplace, dining area and a state of the art kitchen which comes fully equipped to prepare delicious homemade meals. Wine can be chosen from the chalet wine cellar which is adjacent to the kitchen.

Each of the bedrooms has a similar wooden decor as the living space, french windows and modern en-suite facilities. The bedrooms have been finished with beautifully soft linens and fluffy throws. There is a bedroom specifically for children – a quad bunk room which they will love, from here a door leads out to the balcony with the wellness area. 

When booking the chalet chose from a range of services to be included within the chalet. All services will include the reception and in-resort concierge service, welcome pack, towels/linens and midweek housekeeping and bathrobes. Book Bed and Breakfast to also include you breakfast, minibar and soft drinks, in-resort shuttle service 8.30am – 6pm and fresh flowers.

The Penthouse A32 has been designed to suit most groups searching for a luxury ski-in/ski-out in France and makes it ideal for families or friends to stay together. The hot tub is always a hit for all ages and the wine cellar a welcome sight.

KIDS

Kids will be welcomed to the Penthouse A32 with open arms and there will be everything you need before you arrive including high chairs and cotbeds. The kids will love the quad bunk bed room and a dip in the hot tub each day. The most important thing is the ski access means there’s no carrying skis for miles.
